Cancellation and Refund Policy
At GameBuzz, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while protecting both our customers and our business operations.
1. Cancellation Timeframes
24+ Hours Before Pickup
Refund: 100% of rental charges
Processing Time: 3-5 business days
Full refund of all rental charges including security deposit (if not used).
12-24 Hours Before Pickup
Refund: 50% of rental charges
Processing Time: 3-5 business days
Half refund of rental charges. Security deposit fully refunded.
Less than 12 Hours
Refund: No refund
Exception: Emergency situations
No refund for last-minute cancellations unless due to emergency circumstances.
2. Emergency Cancellations
We understand that emergencies happen. In case of genuine emergencies, we may provide special consideration:
- Medical emergencies with proper documentation
- Family emergencies (death, serious illness)
- Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Flight cancellations or delays beyond your control
Emergency refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and require proper documentation.
3. Refund Processing
Processing Time
- Credit Card Refunds: 3-5 business days
- Bank Transfer Refunds: 5-7 business days
- Digital Wallet Refunds: 1-3 business days
Refund Method
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking. If this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative method.
4. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be applicable in the following situations:
- Early vehicle return (unused rental days)
- Vehicle breakdown during rental period
- Service quality issues
- Unavailability of requested vehicle category
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following charges are non-refundable:
- Additional services already provided (GPS, child seats, etc.)
- Fuel charges
- Toll charges
- Traffic violation fines
- Damage charges
- Late return fees
6. Booking Modifications
Instead of cancellation, you may consider modifying your booking:
- Change rental dates (subject to availability)
- Upgrade or downgrade vehicle category
- Add or remove additional services
- Modify pickup/return locations
Modification fees may apply depending on the changes requested.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Contact our customer service team first
- Provide detailed explanation and supporting documents
- Escalate to management if necessary
- Follow our dispute resolution process
8. Special Circumstances
Corporate Bookings
Corporate bookings may have different cancellation terms as per the corporate agreement.
Long-term Rentals
Rentals longer than 30 days have special cancellation terms. Please refer to your rental agreement.
Seasonal Bookings
During peak seasons (festivals, holidays), cancellation terms may be stricter. Please check at the time of booking.
